The Senators lost their first series of the season today as Erie shutdown them down 7-0 (Box Score).
Harrisburg managed only 3 hits today (1 each by Bernadina, Padilla and Montz). Erie’s starting pitcher, Luke French, pitched 8 innings only allowing 3 hits.
The pitching staff didn’t fair much better as they were pounded for 14 hits and 7 runs. Erie’s Danny Worth had their number today as he was 5/5, double, triple, 2 RBI’s and scored a run.
Player of the Game:
Bernadina, Padilla and Montz because they managed to get hits.
Next up:
Harrisburg goes on a road trip to play the Akron Aero’s, Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. I will post my series preview soon.
