New Family Member

On Monday we welcomed the newest Senators fan to our family.

We picked up an 8 week old basset hound. Being a Dukes of Hazzard fan there were really only two options when naming our basset, either Rosco or Flash. After a small family vote he was named Rosco. Rosco was named after James Best character, Rosco P. Coltrane, on The Dukes of Hazzard. For those that did not watch the show, James Best had a basset hound named Flash.

Growing up I was a huge Dukes fan and always watched the show with my brothers. A few years ago my brother Shawn called me bragging that he was watching the first season on DVD. Needless to say I went out that night and bought season one too.

My collection has grown as I now own all 7 season on DVD. Even though my brother Shawn passed away last year, I still enjoy watching the DVD's with my children.

Well hopefully he wont be like Grrrrounder, and come after me with a water gun, lol.

Also, good choice of name for the dog, though I probably would of went with Flash myself.

Just one tip, just hope the dog doesnt love to nibble on things, when the dog (A chocolate lab) I had was a pup, he decided to take a few nibbles on my one Harrisburg Senators cap that was lying around (luckly, I was able to get it from him before he destroyed it).

Steudler47 - It's a puppy, he loves to nibble/chew on just about everything. Most of our stuff is picked up and I'm sure the reset will be picked up this weekend.

Glad you were able to save you Sens hat.

Now, If we could only get some decent weather. It feels and looks like April, not mid-June. Baseball players can play in this type of weather but photographers can't.
