Construction Photos 2/28 Part 3

Part 3 is the final part is a series of photos taken during my visit to City Island on Saturday, February 28th.

Just a reminder of all the work scheduled to be completed by 4/16/09 (Senators opening day):
IF they remain on schedule then we should have a new public plaza, outfield seating and boardwalk, scoreboard, new outfield wall made out of static advertisement panels, upgraded scoreboard and a new operations building. The operation building is supposed to be up but not functional until 2010.

All the photos (plus a few extras are on my Senators Renovation Photos Flickr page).

This part will mainly focus on various photos taken around the area where the new office building will be located. These are all different angles then were in part 1.

1.) This view shows a variety of construction equipment and the mud puddle/construction area.

2.) This area looks like it is ready for more footers/foundation to be poured.

3.) Bottles found during construction are now sitting at the base of the Commerce Bank sign.

4.) The center of this frame looks as though they are preparing to install a swimming pool (lap pool) as there is a huge amount of water in the ditch.

5.) Similar view to photo 4 but a little different as it’s looking out towards the scoreboard area.

6.) One of the drill bits used during construction.

7.) I overexposed this one a little but it still tells a story. This is another view of the whole area.

8.) Another view of the footers/foundation with a makeshift bridge.

9.) Old bottles found during renovations. I converted the photos to black and white to give it an older feel.
