On Saturday, February 28th, I returned to City Island to check in on the progress of the Senators renovation project. There were so many decent photos that it was necessary to break this down into more than one post. I conducted a complete walk around the stadium taking photos from every possible angle. Do to the volume of photos this will be part 1 of 3.
This part will mainly focus on the area where the new office building and entrance will be located. This is where the major portion of the visible construction has taken place at this point.
1.) City Island Stadium Construction signs visible on the Market Street bridge.
2.) Upon arriving at the stadium, I walked up by the horse carriage ride area and this was the view from the top of the hill.
3.) City of Harrisburg sign attached to the fence promoting all of the companies involved with the renovation process.
4.) This is a view from the train tracks.
5.) Here is another view of the footers/foundation that has been laid for the new Office Building.
6.) Commerce Bank sign.
7.) Some type of piping. Kind of reminds me of the AT&T wireless commercial “more bars in more places”.
8.) Another view of the same area as photo #2
Note: All of these photos will be on my Flickr page later tomorrow.
