Best Defensive Outfielder

This award goes to the 2008 Harrisburg Senators Best Defensive Outfielder.

This was a difficult choice as both Roger Bernadina and Mike Daniel played great defense. Both players consistently displayed above average speed, covered a lot of territory, made difficult plays look easy and both made ‘sports center’ top 10 type of plays.

Bernadina made his MLB debut this year while Daniel played all year in Harrisburg. Daniel receives the award based on the fact that he played the entire season in Harrisburg and consistently delivered solid defense. In the final game of the season Daniel made two exceptional plays (a running catch against the CF wall and a diving catch in shallow CF to end the season). You have to love a player that plays hard every play.

Congratulations to Mike Daniel
