Best Defensive Infielder

This award goes to the 2008 Harrisburg Senators Best Defensive Infielder.

For me this came down to two players, 3rd - Ofilio Castro and 2nd - Seth Bynum. Both players suited up for Harrisburg most of the season and they played their positions very well. Growing up I played both 2nd and 3rd so I understand the degree of difficulty it takes to play both positions.

Seth did a great job but the award goes to Ofilio Castro. Castro, made playing 3rd base look easy. He showed great range; from the hole at SS to the 3rd base box seats he covered it all. He also displayed soft hands and very strong arm.

Congratulations to Ofilio Castro
