Series Preview at Trenton Thunder

The Senators go on their first road trip of the season as they head to Trenton for a 4 games series. Harrisburg has a 4-2 record and they are in 2nd place in the EL’s, Southern Division to open the series. While Trenton opens the series with a 4-3 record and are in 4th place in the EL’s Northern Division.

The series gets started today as two pitching prospects face off, Harrisburg’s Shairon Martis (BA-18) and Trenton’s Dan McCutchen (BA-14). In Martis last start on 4/5 against Akron, he pitched 4 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. He also gave up 2 homeruns. McCutchen faired much better in his first start of the season allowing no runs, on 3 hits, while striking out 7 in 5 innings vs. Binghamton on 4/5.
