The Senators 2010 HOME schedule has been released.
The season begins April 8th on the road with 7 games on the road.
The opening of the redesigned Metro Bank Park is set for April 15 as the Senators battle the New Britain Rock Cats in a 4-game series.
Start Times: Sunday start times have changed to 1 PM (was 2 PM during the 2009 season). There will be 3 games starting at 10:30 AM (4/21, 5/4 & 5/20) and 3 games starting at 12 PM (6/23, 7/21 & 8/11). All other home games are scheduled to start at 7 PM.
Moving: The San Francisco Giants Double-A affiliate has moved from Connecticut to Richmond and they are scheduled to make 2 trips to Metro Bank Park (5/7-5/9 & 7/5-7/8).
All-Star: As many of you know, Harrisburg will be hosting the 2010 EL All-Star Game which is scheduled for July 14th.
Home Games by month:
April 8, May 20, June 12, July 14, and August 17.

1. Sunday Starts. I dont get why they try for early evening starts, especially during the summer (not unless its something the Eastern League does not want teams doing). For April, May, its fine, but when you are in July or August, it can just be unbearable.
2. With the Defenders going to Richmond (I can safely assume Virginia), im sure that will mean a team is going to move to the North Division. Probably would be Erie if I had to take a guess.
3. A little surprised that the home schedule could of started a week or two later, but I guess the Eastern League would only allow the first week to be a road trip before starting the first series in a newly renovated park.
Without seeing the Away schedule, the home schedule seems better this year. I especially like the 1:00 PM start on Sundays.
I wish that we played the Northern teams more often and that the evening games started earlier than 7:00 PM!
