Harrisburg Senators Game Notes....

Each day I receive Game Notes from the Harrisburg Senators. They include various pieces of infomation, notes on the expected starting pitchers, information on the other players and various other stats. Two parts stood out to me so I wanted to share them with you.

Close, But No Cigar: In their first 41 games, the Sens have lost by two runs or less 16 times and by three runs or less a total of 19 times. In 24 of the Sens 41 games they have trailed by one going into the 7th seventh inning or they have been leading the game. From the 7th inning on, the Sens have been outscored 49-32. Harrisburg has led at some point in 25 of their 41 games this season.

Tracking the 2009 Attendance: With major changes being made to Metro Bank Park this summer, the Senators attendance is greatly ahead of the 2008 pace. The Capital Blue Cross Boardwalk officially opened for business on Friday, May 22nd. Here are all the relevant attendance figures for the 2009 season.
