UCP Annual Sports Auction May 2, 2009

The 23rd Annual UCP/Senators Sports Memorabilia Auction will be held Saturday May 2, 2009, at the Carousel Pavilion at Metro Bank Park on City Island.

The event, sponsored by the Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club, has raised more than $1 million during its 22-year run to support the programs at UCP Central PA that benefit individuals with disabilities and their families.

There will be both Live and Silent Auctions—more than 250 items are available. That means there’s something for everyone… and sports memorabilia makes a great gift. This year's silent auction will feature many items ranging in value, some that in year's past would only be available in the live auction.

Items are on display through April 30 at Strawberry Square, 1st floor between the Walnut Street entrances.

The day of the event schedule is as follows:
8:45 AM -- Registration and a Preview of Items; Silent auction bidding is also permitted.

10:00 AM -- Live auction begins.

11:30 AM-12:30 PM -- Silent Auction closings - 15 minute intervals for each section.

1:00 PM - Premier Silent Auction closes.

Refreshments will be available.
