Senators Fall to Trenton

Harrisburg extended their losing streak to three-games in a 5-2 loss to Trenton(Box/Recap).


Senators’ starter, Luis Atilano, was touched up for 11 hits and all 5 of Trenton’s runs over 3.1 innings pitched. Jack Spradlin, Josh Wilkie, and Zech Zinicola combined to throw 4.2 scoreless innings in relief, allowing only 1 hit while striking out 8.

The lone Senators runs came off the bat of Bill Rhinehart who doubled in Ian Desmond and Matt Whitney. Rhinehart was 1/4 with a double and 2 RBI’s. Ian Desmond was 1/4 with a double and a run scored. Seth Bynum was 2/4.

Harrisburg continued the trend of leaving runners on base (6) and not driving in runners in scoring position (1-7). Harrisburg is hitting .246 as a team but only .186 with runners in scoring position.
