Raines to Manage Newark Bears

Atlantic League Baseball Blog is reporting that former Harrisburg Senator hitting coach, Tim Raines, has signed a 2-year deal to manage the Newark Bears. The Bears play in the same independent league as the York Revolution and the Lancaster Barnstormers.

Congratulations to Tim Raines, Sr., on being signed as Manager of the Newark Bears! The Newark Bears are very fortunate to have such a person with invaluable baseball experience to manage their team!! Much continued success, to a future hall-of-famer!!!

When Tim was the hitting coach for the Harrisburg Senators (2007) - he was a class act, great hitting coach, very personable, and signed autographs easily.
