Better late than never....
Back in the day the Senators brought two of baseballs most loved entertainers to City Island, SD Famous Chicken and Max "The Clown Prince" Patkin. I had the opportunity to see both perform and the did not disappoint. Afterwards I got both of their autographs. Patkin's auto was always a favorite of mine as he was the "original" that paved the way for others. The Famous Chicken still continues to perform. Max Patkin passed away 9 years ago this week and he is missed by baseball fans all over the world. The night before he passed away he was handing out his baseball card in the hospital. Even dealing with his own issues he still tried to make people smile.
