Peo Saguaros win 8-0 (Box/Game Story) behind a strong pitching performance from Cory VanAllen. VanAllen pitched 4 innings allowing only 2 hits while registering 6 strikeouts.

Ian Desmond hit leadoff and was 0/5 with 2 strikeouts.

Leonard Davis was 2/3, with 2 walks and a run scored.

Bill Rhinehart was 2/5, with a double, 2 RBI’s and a runs scored.

Cory VanAllen – 4 innings pitched, 2 hits, 6 strike outs and 4 walks. He picked up his second win in the AFL.

The Saguaros came up short as the lost to Scottsdale 5-4(Box/Game Story). The Sag’s had a good 9th inning rally as Rhinehart and Davis scored 2 of the teams 3 runs. But the rally came up short as a runner was on 2nd base but the batter flied out to end the game.

Ian Desmond PH and played SS but did not get an at-bat.

Leonard Davis pitch hit and was 1/1 with a run scored.

Bill Rhinehart was 1/3 with a runs scored
