New Photo Friday 10/3/2008
This week’s new photo comes from the game on August 31, Bowie vs. Harrisburg (Harrisburg won 13-7). The photo is of Senators outfielder Edgardo Baez and Bowie catcher Matt Wieters (2008 Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year).
This photo goes to show how the vital stats of the players aren’t always accurate. Baez is listed at 6’2” while Wieters is listed at 6’5”. I wonder whose height is correct???
When Baez stepped in the batters box and stood next to Wieters I noticed the extreme height difference and I captured this image. It's not the most technically sound photo but I thought it was funny.
