The Senators, Andrew LeFave, came through with a clutch RBI single scoring Justin Maxwell in the 8th inning to help Harrisburg defeat Erie 4-3 (Box Score). LeFave was 2/4 with 2 RBI’s.
Mike Daniel was 2/3 with a RBI. Jorge Padilla was 2/3 and scored. Recently promoted Ofilio Castro was 1/4, doubled, scored and a RBI.. Justin Maxwell was 0/2 but walked twice and scored 2 runs, including the game winning run in the 8th.
Shairon Martis had another strong outing, his 3rd in a row, allowing only 2 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), striking out 3 over 6 innings. Unfortunately Martis did not get the win as Mike Hinckley blew the save opportunity pitching 1.1 innings, 1 run and walked 3.
