Harrisburg Senators Spring Training

Some readers have been looking for Senators spring training scores and game reports, I’ve even had a few people e-mail be about it. I’ve never been to spring training but my initial thought was that there are no game reports or box scores available. I wanted to confirm my thinking before posting something here or replying to e-mails, so I contacted Terry Byrom. He said, “There are no scorebooks kept with the exception of the pitchers keeping track of the pitchers.” He continued by saying its “pretty informal” and “imagine a high school scrimmage game and you have the idea.”

Luckily the season starts in only 16 days!!! Home opener is Thursday, April 3rd at 6:35 PM as Harrisburg plays host to the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians Double-A affiliate). Tickets are on sale at the Senators box office, which is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
