In the latest blog post "FanFest – It’s coming together", GM Randy Whitaker, provides additional details regarding the 2008 Harrisburg Senators FanFest (well, kind of). The surprises are spread though out the day (11:30 & 4). Whitaker is hoping fans “just plan on coming to spend the day.” He ends the post by promising to “elaborate on exactly what surprise #1 is” next week. Surprise #1 is scheduled for 11:30 am on the main stage and is said to be something “that we never done before in the 21 previous years.”
The 2008 Harrisburg Senators FanFest is scheduled on Saturday, March 1, from 11 am until 4 pm, at the Harrisburg (East) Mall.
