The Washington Nationals have resigned Justin Jones. The Nationals resigned Jones even though he blew out his knee playing basketball earlier this off season. According to Nationals GM Jim Bowden, Jones will miss the entire 2008 season.
Jones, 23, finished the 2007 season in Harrisburg. With Harrisburg he was 2-0 with a 5.19 ERA. His combined 2007 record was 11-8 with a 3.72 ERA earned him a 40-man roster spot. After his knee injury he was released to make room for a healthy player.
